10 years ago we decided to get out of the city with all the guys in our church to hang out and be adventurous. About a dozen of us went, did some rock climbing, hung out, had great food and were hooked on this place. God is so awesome to have made a place like Joshua Tree. If you haven't been, you HAVE to experience it!. We stopped calling it a "climbing trip" because as we invited new guys, too many instantly gave reasons why they can't climb. (My back, my knee, my sciatica nerve, my hernia) So we started calling it our "Guy's Trip". Besides, the whole point is getting together in the wilderness with brothers and friends and experiencing what we rarely ever get to experience: BROTHERHOOD. And it's really awesome! God has something special in store for us when we are just allowed to go out and be ourselves, and maybe even be real with each other. It can happen out here, and it just keeps getting better every year. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try. Life's too short not to live fully.
